Synopsis
The story of Seydou and Moussa is a contemporary odyssey in which the protagonists must overcome a series of obstacles. In the process, they change from humans to commodities to animals, until Seydou eventually becomes a hero. This great adventure, which leads us through the perils of the desert and the sea, the ambiguities and contradictions of human beings, and during which the dreams, hopes and ambitions of the main characters turn into a struggle for survival, leaves no place for piety.
